1Potato has loved playing the piano since she was 4 years old. She has a great ear for music and can play almost any melody she hears. In March 2008, she started having piano lessons to help her with music theory and rhythm. Last Friday, she had her first recital after only 1 month of lessons. She was very nervous but she did great!

I can’t believe our oldest turned 9 last Friday! Time just flies by. We had a really fun day with family and then took her to our friends house for a suprise evening of horse riding. Here’s a couple pictures of her on her birthday and one of the baby laughing. Enjoy!
I’ve been quiet this week because my grandpa passed away last Friday evening. This is the first grandparent I have lost. I know that I have been blessed that I had him for so long. He was 85 years old and had been sick for the last year and was on Hospice so it wasn’t really a suprise but that doesn’t make it any easier. Please pray for our family and especially for my grandma as she learns to live without her husband of nearly 56 years.
